About the game
What is Glowdess?
Glowdess, full name Glowdess Makeover Studio, is a free makeover game on Roblox from the Glowdess group. It came out on November 5, 2026. You play the stylist: each client brings a brief and an occasion, and you take her through four steps before the reveal scores your look out of five stars.
Between clients you can walk the Live Runway against other players, or open Freeplay and design a look with no brief at all. The game is for players 16 and older and runs on computer, phone, tablet, Xbox and PlayStation.

How a makeover works
Four steps, then the reveal
Each client goes through the same four stations. What you choose at each one depends on her face, her color season and what she asked for.

Cut and color
Pick a cut, from bobs and side braids to island twists, a natural afro or an elegant low bun. Then choose from 23 hair colors sorted into golden, red, neutral, ash and dark.
STEP 3MAKEUP
Shade by shade
Work through base, brows, lashes, liner, shadow and lips. Lip finishes go from sheer and satin to vinyl, metallic and duochrome, and you set how strong each one looks.
STEP 4STYLE
Style the look
Dress her from tops, bottoms, dresses, jackets, shoes and jewelry until the outfit fits where she's going.
The reveal
She sees herself in the mirror
Your Glow Score rates her color, hair, face and outfit, and checks how closely you followed her brief. A five-star look earns a Glow Cash tip. You spend Glow Cash on new products and on decorating your studio.
Live Runway
Walk the runway, top the podium
Take your look onto the runway with the other players in your server. Each round has a theme, such as Monochrome Magic. You rate every look from one to five stars and send reactions like Sparkle, Gasp and Crown while it walks.
When the votes are in, the top three looks take the podium, and every player sees where they placed.
Freeplay and Photo Mode
Design your own look
Freeplay has no client and no brief. You build a look from face to heels, and the game keeps it, so the next time you open Freeplay your look is where you left it.
When you're happy with it, Photo Mode lets you pick the frame, the lighting (golden hour, ring light, editorial and more), the backdrop and her pose, then take the shot.

Questions players ask
What is the Glowdess game?
Glowdess is the short name for Glowdess Makeover Studio, a free makeover game on Roblox. You style clients through colors, hair, makeup and outfit, then earn a Glow Score at the reveal.
Is Glowdess free to play?
Yes. Every Chapter 1 client is free. Optional game passes add extras, such as Gala Season, which opens Chapter 2 with four more clients.
What age is Glowdess for?
Players 16 and older. You can paint freely on a client's face and other players see it on the Live Runway, and Roblox limits games with free-form drawing to age-checked players 16 and up.
What devices can I play Glowdess on?
Windows and Mac computers, iPhone and Android phones, tablets, Xbox and PlayStation. On console you can play the whole game with a controller.
How do I start playing Glowdess?
Open Glowdess Makeover Studio on Roblox and press Play. Your first client is Maya, who needs a look for her first day at a new job, and the game guides you through each step with her.
How does the Glow Score work?
At the reveal, the game scores her color, hair, face and outfit and checks the look against her brief. The result shows as a Glow Score with up to five stars, and a five-star look earns a Glow Cash tip.
Can I play Glowdess with other people?
Yes. The Live Runway is multiplayer: you show your look, rate other players' looks and compete for the podium. A server holds up to 50 players.
